Counselling and ARTs TherapY
London, Colchester, Online, Telephone
Hello and welcome. My name is Justine Garside-Martin, a counsellor and arts therapist with over 20 years’ experience of providing therapeutic support to people of all backgrounds and ages. I am registered with and work within the ethical guidelines of the following regulatory bodies: British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, National Counselling Society and the Health and Care Professionals Council.
My training and accreditations as a counsellor and arts therapist mean that I am also able to offer a range of creative approaches in addition to counselling, as determined by you, to help you explore your feelings and concerns, and to gain insights and self-awareness.
“It’s not about getting the feeling out of the mind, or hiding it,
but about experiencing it with acceptance.” - Carl Rogers
There might be a specific issue, or an experience like a bereavement or separation, that concerns you. Or it could be that you are experiencing multiple challenges from different areas of life, or feeling generally anxious, stuck or confused. Therapy can be a place for you to take stock of the present and process your feelings, and gain support in identifying your choices for moving forward.
Using a range of recognised counselling and therapeutic approaches as you feel best suits your needs, our work together can be short term to focus on specific issues or long term to explore your concerns in more depth.
I provide a non-judgemental confidential space for you. The aim is for you to choose what you require in the moment and what best suits your needs and personality.
The relationship with your therapist is important as is choosing the right one, so please feel free to contact me for a free 20-minute consultation to discuss how we might work together.
